I-Betanin "ayizange ihlotshaniswe njengebangela ukungezwani kokudla lapho isetshenziswa njenge-ejenti yokufaka imibala".
I-Betanin ikhombisile nokuthi inomsebenzi wokulwa namagciwane futhi ingasetshenziswa njenge-ejenti yemvelo yokulwa namagciwane ekulondolozweni kokudla.
